B&D Integrated Health Services provide community based support for evidence based behavioral health services. They offer programs in a number of counties, including Duke, Wake, Chatham, and Franklin for both children and adults. For adults, they provide a variety of services: Community Support Team, Peer Support Services, and Outpatient Therapy. For children, they offer in-home services, outpatient therapy and psychiatric medication management. They also offer transportation services for Durham and Wake county consumers.

Carolina Outreach provides access to psychiatric and mental health services to children and adults. They work by offering immediate help and community-based referrals. They work in Durham, Wake, Cumberland and Johnson county. They provide care for the uninsured and for individuals that meet a certain income criteria. Types of treatment include Psychiatric services, Crisis counseling, Provider referrel, and Case management. They offer bilingual services as well.

Fernandez Community Center, LLC aims to reduce stigma and protect the rights of people suffering from mental illness/subtance abuse. They aim to strengthen and promote health and wellbeing. Include screenings, assessments, appropriate referrels and aftercare. They accept Medicaid and offer bilingual services.

Musical Empowerment aims to give music education to children by pairing them with college mentors. This organization provides free music lessons, 1 on 1 mentorship and instruments at no cost. This organization facilitates the development of self-confidence and pride for both mentors and children enrolled in the program.

TYW seeks to create an open space and awareness of challenges often faced at a young age through lessons, guided discussions, and wellness programs. They offer after school programming for middle school students in Orange County with the goal of providing resources to promote mental health and wellbeing.

The Women's Center is a crisis intervention and assessment center, located in Raleigh, that aims to assist women in achieving self-sufficiency and being dignified. This organization offers safety and stabilization services, transportation assistance, clinical/case management and counseling and more. Their programs include: Safety + Stabilization Services and Supportive Services.

The Healthy Durham Mental Health Committee seeks to increase public awareness of mental illness and access to mental health services. Meetings are held once a month and are open to the public. Past accomplishments and resources can be found on their website.
